"What the hell's it to me, you still are what I think" That's my favorite quote, its what made me fall in love with lydia and they play such a great show too. Leighton is an amazing singer and his voices just compliments the whole collabration of instruments. The easy rise of the cymbols it brings a sense of jazz and leads in to the alterative runs, and even though maria was replaced by mindy the music stays in its unquie way I can't think of any other bands that have a stlye similar to this maybe a couple of combinations of two or more but I totally fell for this band the lyrics and the flow of medolies just makes sense. Try listening to their cd while driving during the sunset with a view of the city, it looks like it was a scene from a movie. To me this song is about a relationship gone sour and how some people have perceptions of others and find out the hard way that they were wrong and they see what they really are like my favorite quote its just saying no matter what you could say or do I know how you really are and that's not going to change |
