I adore this song. There's so much passion in the words and in the sound. Lauryn Hill is a musical genius - I can't explain how much I love her. This song makes me want to buy a tub of ice cream and swing round my room dancing and singing along with Lauryn. Strange I know. |

This is a truly beautiful song and I jsut can't really find the words to describe it. It's one of my favourites and I always find myself listening to it on hangover days or if I'm a tad sad..in a strange way it seems to cheer me up. I believe the song is about love but of course it's no ordinary story. It goes deeper than the surface and incorporate religious aspects metaphorically. This song is just amazing. |

This is a lovely slow-jam. I love all of Ray J's songs - his old stuff too. I would agree with AndrewScottYoung however it could also be something a bit closer then two close friends - a relationship maybe. He is saying that he can be a friend as well as a lover. |

Wow I can't believe that there aren't ANY comments on this song. It isn't THAT well known but it's really amazing. It features José González who sang the song 'Heartbeats' that was featured in a Sony BRAVIA advert (the one with all the multi-coloured bouncy balls bouncing down a hill?). The beautiful sounds of his voice mixed with Plan B's rapping skills make a lovely song.
The meaning of the song is quite clear. He goes through the life of his son, each verse is a stage. The father gets cancer and eventually dies. He apologises for the wrongs in his life and tells his son that he'll be there to guide him.
