I don't mean for agreeing with me or anything along those lines, but for actually THINKING when trying to interpret the song unlike some of the people that were posting earlier... I really appreciate that there are still intelligent people on the internet... And I like your interpretations, I really do. But personally, I see it as more of a religious dogma and the psychological need of many to believe in something fake like that... But serious cyber five to everyone posting maturely! |

I think it's about people trying to repress and forget about tragedies and things of that nature so they can continue living in a deluded reality, and about leaving that delusion... "Mesmerized by those eyes with bugs crawling on them, my breathing stops My heart calms itself " would be like seeing them dead, and you're shocked and your heart kind of sinks. "The refreshing sun mixes in with sound of the rain " The refreshing sun would be the happy lie that people like to believe in because refreshing is like...happy and sun is kinda like sunny and cheery, and the rain would be reality because it's metaphorically dreary and unhappy. With this in mind, the refreshing sun mixing with the sound of rain would be like starting to see reality insead of the lie. "My slashed heart dances, and I question in vain " Slashed heart implying depression and the dancing is like that throbbing feeling, and then the questioning [of why this is happening] is in vain because there isn't really an answer for something like that and no one would try to answer because they don't want to accept reality, just to stay in that delusion "The white voice, the leaking of the breath in the sun" is what replies to the questioning, and is white only because it's a deception, and it's leaking of the breath in the sun is like it just kind of reeks of that happy lying delusion, trying to convince you "The obscene exposure of the wound Disappears into nothing, the wind of dogma Your melting heart" the visiblity of the wound is the reality of the tragedy or death and then it disappearing into nothing is that being covered up or ignored, the wind of dogma is like that's being covered up for the sake of protecting the lie and covering up reality, your melting heart would be the deceased "The dark morning, echoing goodbye " the dark morning probably when the deceased or tradgedy or whatever was discovered and it echos goodbye is like that's all you can think about, or can't get it off your mind, and it's goodbye because they're gone "My slashed heart dances, and I question in vain I just want to be alone right now " still depressed, still no one answers the question, want's to be alone to think and mourn in private because everyone else is still in that cheery deluded fake mode...type...thing "A single season of spring, even the tearful neck and you crawling the earth" the single season of spring would be that fake reality i keep talking about, and even when you're crying and the deceased is buried everyone is still believing that lie "Love Me" tryign to hold the last shred of that happy delusion [SCREAMING] sort of like freaking out as the last of the lie totally falls apart "Abandon Hope" kind of like just saying 'fuck it,' abandoning the lie, seeing reality, etc etc |
