| Free – Remember Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Great Song. The most underrated band of all-time and one of the greatest albums of all-time, as well. Anyway, I think this album (Fire and Water) is a concept album. It starts with the title track which is about a break up "got what it takes to make a poor man's heart break" then it goes to Oh I Wept which is about Paul weeping over the breakup, then it goes to this track which is obviously remembering the good and bad times you spent with you lover. After that come Heavy Load which is about paul carry the burden of the break up, then Mr. Big which is about someguy goin' after the girl Paul broke up with and him protecting her. Next Don't Say You Love Me is about the girl apologizing to Paul for what she had done to cause the breakup and lastly All Right Now is about Paul finding another chick, hence everything being "All Right Now." Anyway this just struck me as a possibility after listening to it a couple times. It really makes sense to me. Feel free to disagree/add on to. |

| American Minor – Walk On Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Great Tune. I think this song's about being proud of yourself all the time, even through tough times. To "walk on" means to be proud and the singers saying to keep your head up (with your nose turned up at the people that you meet), even through difficult situations(but every single one is as transparent as the sky.) Awesome song, Awesome album, Awesome band. |

| SEX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | |
| Foo Fighters – Requiem (Killing Joke cover) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
How fuckin' helpful intothegrider, Anyway, it sounds to me that this songs is about a guy who lives his life for no reason at all and does everything exactly like he is supposed to (the requiem). Then he is forced into doing something that other people are depending on, but he fails (cease to function). Then the people kill him (when will they start plotting against you). Finally, they people realize what they did wasn't justified (only a hint of religion) and end up killing themselves (this is the reflection). That's pretty much what I think it means, but feel free to disagree and/or add to my take on it. |
| Foo Fighters – Erase/Replace Lyrics | 17 years ago |
This song is about how the Foo Fighters "replaced" Nirvana after Kurt Cobain died and how they were "erased." "We'll make these promises" - Kurt promised Dave that everything was good and nothing was wrong. "Oh, oh we're better off now It's the only thing left said Meant for you Oh, oh we're better off now It's the only thing left said Meant for you" - Dave's telling himself that it's better that Kurt's gone and that he has to say goodbye for the last time. Anyway, great song. The whole album is great. |

| Rage Against the Machine – Fistful Of Steel Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I think this song is about when the government is forced to punish wrongdoers, they do it, but when they realize what they have to do, they hesitate. "And if the vibe was suicide Then you would push da button But if ya bowin' down Then let me do the cuttin'" Interpretation: If they are threatened with death (suicide is the metaphor), they'd make the decision but when they understand what they do (bowin' down), they let other people influence the decision. |
