Did you read the entire comment? All of you guys just take one look at the first sentence and say "you don't know what you're talkin about" and I'm like "dude, it's not serious man. I'm making fun of other people's idiotic ideas. You know, like the guy that thought it was about a transvestite. That guy's a perfect example of a stupid idea that's SERIOUS". Do I have to explain sarcasm to you people every time I post a sarcastic comment? |

I like the person above me's story. Very good. Very...intelligant. How long did it take? My second question. Are you being sarcastic cuz it really doesn't seem so. Uh...why does everyone put their life story on this website? I don't wanna read it but I just can't look away cuz it's staring straight at me burning into my eyes. Oh my gosh! No one cares if you had a girlfriend that broke up with you and you're a terrible person! This website isn't about you! Neither is this song (although, you people have a hard time realizing this)! No one came on this website to read someone's life story! They came so they can criticize or agree with other people's comments or just throwing out random "THIS BAND ROCKS". Or the occasional "this song sucks". I have one question for those people. Why are you on here if you hate the song so much? Not that I'm agreeing or disagreeing. I'm probably gonna do that a couple of times. I'm just curious for your take on the matter. Did you...search the song cuz you wanted to know if people share your desire to kill Interpol because they made a poppy love song...or...whatever song this is? I'm not sure if it's about love. I'm almost positive it isn't. It doesn't make any sense if it is. It's definitely not about literal spies. That's also the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I never know what the heck the chorus in most Interpol songs mean. They always sound random to me. Whatever. Anyway, Kitty Kong, you have succeeded in being one of my most hated users on this website. Give yourself a stab in the face. |

Another classic Imogen Heap "what the heck is she talking about, this makes no sense" songs that sound kinda cool and poppy. Sure, this song has an awesome beat that makes you just want to grab the person behind you and begin blugeoning him with the closest blunt object. But, it makes zero sense. I honestly don't believe that she knows how to keep on a set train of thought. Kinda like me now that I'm thinkin about it. But, I still can't keep up with that squirrel that's running around in her skull. Huh...squirrel. Usually...a hamster. I amaze myself sometimes. I dunno. Imogen Heap's a sucky writer. She couldn't write nor sing her way INTO a paper bag. Let alone out of it. |

Truthfully, this song is abosolute rhyming jibberish. To try and spend thirty seconds staring at one line wondering what it has to do with flies would demean my very championship. So, instead, I'm gonna point out why it's ridiculous. First of all, the line "heart in a headlock". I just hate that line. "You're wrestling your heart" kinda thing goin on. And ugh. I hate romance. WHAT DOES IDK MEAN?! Anyway, this song sounds like it needs its lyrics rearranged and some holes filled thus ruining the sound of the song. Eh. I'm not even gonna attempt to make sense. |

Yeah, Rin, you're an idiot. As for you Orange...man...cheese, I'm offended by your comment. I did NOT just talk about Jews and Nazis. I went off on Bigfoot and the conspiracy theories. I mentioned 9/11. You gotta give me credit for that. And I mentioned how this song reflects the OC. Which, if you didn't get it, I don't know what that is. I was just making fun of the people that said it was about the OC or sumthin like that. I leave with a question. What kind of communist conspiracy does OC stand for? |

That's all you got? They stay beautiful with long dark hair and soft skin? Vampire? Yes! Genius! This doesn't HAVE to mean vampires. It could I guess if you look at it in a stupid way. This could mean preservation in thought or preservation of the decaying body although...that wouldn't really work either. Probably the thought thing. That's the most logical. Oh yeah, you also have that "dark secret" line. You got two lines. You're doin' good. Most only draw their conclusions from one word. Rape. This song is about murder you moron, you idiot, you ignorant fool. Calling other simpletons when clearly uh...not a gay line. I'm not condeming you for calling them idiots, I do it myself constantly. But still, you are equally idiotic and clearly I'm the only one with a lick of sense here. And uh...I don't read in the lyrics "I'm gonna suck your blood" "we'll be vampires together". In fact, I don't see one vampirick word. And those of you who said "the songwriter said it was about vampires". The guy was just sayin "whatever you want to believe" pretty much. Not in the sense that anyone can believe anything. It was sarcasm. I know you guys have no sense of that but that's all it was. That's all. |

uh...dryfu, you're an idiot. Explain to me the explanation. What the heck? He sees himself...through his eyes...through himself? I can't fathom what kind of drugs you're into. Maybe it's my fault. Maybe I just never smoked crack so I could never understand. But, to me, that sounds just like a girl. He clearly is talking about how some girl broke his heart. Not about how drugs broke his heart and for some reason there's a chick involved. In the second part he's talkin about how he's been going through life not worrying about anything. Not about smoking some crack. Admitably, I can understand the chorus about as well as you can. Still, I admit no defeat. I am still a genius. The third part he's talkin about how he's gotta get away and take a break from relationships. Hence, "rest my chemistry". But you people just hear "rest my chemisty" and think, "crack"! Anyway, to conclude, girl, not crack...or heroine. Man, how do drug dealers even get computers? |

No, no, no, no, no. You guys got it all wrong. What it's REALLY about is cutting frogs clearly. I mean, the whole song just points to something else but it IS about cutting frogs. See, "cut that little child" talkin about cuttin a baby frog and how children are like baby frogs in that manner...that you can cut them. And it's legal. See, throughout the song no one understand poor Jimmy and his obsession with cutting frogs so he tries to tell them it's his life and he's gonna cut those frogs whenever he wants. Those...poor frogs. Jimmy's so cruel. Why he's doin this is because his parents murdered several young children and threw them in their closet thus "why are you hiding a skeleton in your closet". And if Jimmy is a murderer for killing frogs, he musta got it from someone so "a killer in ME is a killer in you". |

Yeah, you idiots that think this song is about Nazis and...Indians...and the less popular Bigfoot, you guys are idiots that take one line of the song (yet again) and say "this is what it's about clearly". Crop circles in the carpet is clearly talking about Bigfoot's impression in the dirt. As for the Nazis, I mean, how is this song not about Nazis? See? You guys are sayin' that it's not but I have yet to hear how it isn't so I'm gonna keep sayin that it is darn it! As for you Kyro..123...7 you're an idiot. Just riddle me this, the Jews were not the first people to live in Germany, otherwise it'd be called Jewry. No, it was the Prussians (which may be just another word for the Jews)! The Jews came to Germany, not vice versa. I don't remember reading "then the Jews left Israel and settled in a nearby continent naming it Jewry". Uh...about the holocaust, I don't remember reading "and then Yuganslova kicked down the door, ripped out all the furniture and left them hungry and alone...without furniture and pictures of their family". No, they took the people first, furniture came second. You can't coax people into a train after stealing their furniture! You idiot! And uh...the only thing that actually backs you up on this one is "where are we" and that could mean anything! You...you communist. 9/11 is still a stupid intrepretation. She's English, she's not from America, she doesn't care about 9/11. Wait, maybe she's talking about how evil the Americans are and she's a terrorist! See, Hitler was really Bigfoot/alien coming to enslave the Jews and he never died in world war 2. The Russians lied for the foot. And then his next act of terrorism was influencing Sadam Husane to drive planes into the twin towers and world trade center clearly this is what the song is reflecting. Just like in the OC! You remember when Bigfoot took over the world and those dang kids had to go stop him like Scooby Doo and I'm pretty sure it ended in their deaths. No, what it's really about is the OC. You know, when Tommy breaks Rachel's heart and then he kills her and has to find the real murderer then finds out it's actually him and has to...leave crop circles in the grande. Yeah, it's talking about that episode even knowing that episode was only aired in America. Dang communists. Confusing everyone into believing it's about Nazis and aliens...and Bigfoot. |

It seems like you guys are always sayin' "it's metaphorical" when it isn't supposed to be and then "it's meaning is on the cover of the album" when the song is clearly metaphorical. As for this one, the meaning is so obvious that it's in the title. Only someone that doesn't know English would say "it's about relationships and it's metaphorical for that" in some like I dunno French language. It is clearly and obviously about the olden times when they would burn people accused of being witches. Sometimes, they'd lie because they were paid an amount of money to catch a witch. How could you get anything else outta that? Freakin...eskimos |

You know what I hate the most? When people start tellin stories about their lives and comparing it to the song. I don't care about your life and how this song reminds you of that time when you were ten and your best friend got drunk and beat you with a hammer. I don't want to know that! I just want that space to be filled with an actual comment that I can get more than halfway through before crying in anguish "why did you do this to me"! Uh...all I gots to say is what the heck? Stop posting the same story seven hundred times over. You're different screen names, same people. I only need to hear it once. You people just wanna beat it into my head. "This is the story and we're not changing it ever". Well! I guess I'm gonna be the one to change it! See, the band actually said "it's about a haunted house" basically. How can you ignorant fools just say "that is TOO simple, it's false, I know what it's about, the person that wrote it doesn't. It's clearly about rape". Let me explain this again, just because something says "rape" does not always mean that that song is strictly about rape. I don't even know how you got that! Ugh! You know, I checked two different websites. The results are the same. "It's a trilogy". What...the heck? How can three songs that have absolutely nothing to do with each other other than the fact that they're from the same band be a trilogy? I mean, in one song he's talkin' about a stripper and the next he's talkin' about marrying some girl and you automatically say because of the transitions between the two songs isn't it?! That's the only reason! Many bands have done that! Gosh! How the heck can you relate them to each other purely based off of that?! And the third song! I don't even understand how you people think THAT has something to do with the other songs! Sometimes I hate you people intensely. |

I enjoy reading...well, really only one of your overactive imaginations at work. I mean, you think of whole background stories and...I'm sure one of you has given each of your characters name like...maybe Skippy...Jennifer...and the less popular Slavinhog. I mean, you actually go into detail about hoe he kills this girl and then meets the new girl and it's just like whoa, I didn't hear that in the song. I'm not seeing that in the lyrics! Who the heck is Jim?! Anyway, I'd like to make a tribute to you guys by makin' my own background story. See, Slavinhog was a strange child. He grew up in South...Magnol...magnus and he met Jennifer "Rosemary". Jennifer was a beautiful woman who stole his heart. But one day, Jennifer hid Slavinhog's booze and he became very angry and buried her in the backyard. Then, he met Skippy "Sandy" who he then again falls in love with but uh...she finds out about Jennifer, I mean like half her corpse is jetting out of the ground, evidently he was drunk while burying her and yeah, he gets sent to trial and well...things just don't work out for Slavinhog from there on out. Eventually, he broke out of prison and now he lives on...in the stars |

And the person that thought "i feel like love is in the kitchen with a culinary eye I think he's making something special and I'm smart enough to try" as a poetic metaphor for romance...what the heck?! How is comparing love to food romantic?! And he's talking about booze clearly! What do you hold close and wrap up tight? A bottle! But what do you hold the face of? A GLASS! Of course! Alright, now, let me explain this song to you simpletons. It's clearly about an Algebra teacher eating children. "You may notice certain things before you die" is clearly stating the facts that the children know when they're going to be chosen. "mail them to me should they cause your algebra to fail" most certainly means he mails the children's brains to their parents thus completing the transformation. "Cole and Macey lost their eyes on the finer points" is just too easy. Cole and Macey lost their eyes to a homeless guy with a fork. How could you miss that?! "roll them up in coffee cake and dine" is clearly a reference to the fact that he's learned how to make children into coffee cake. I personally think it sounds delicious. And the china kids at the end laughin' is pretty disturbing. They're enjoying being devoured. Kyo Kitty, you dang teenagers and your fancy ways of spelling "people" makes me sick.
