This song is amazing, best song i've ever had on repeat! After a full week i had to relate it to the past 8 years of conservative vs. liberal thinking. Why?

Stanza 1:
Forward thinking individuals have created what is known as the green movement which reached it peak when Al Gore won a Nobel in 2007. The terrible sound is its message. Once teeming and asleep...liberal thinking and our planet. The problem? The situation is unorganized and delivering as much fear mongering as the right is war mongering. Last two lines, global warming?

If so, I wouldn't mind adding that taxing ourselves for CO2 after the US has already hit peak fossil fuel consumption seems to be too little too late especially when you consider the fact that our free markets are what create every new planet saving invention. Even if you disagree, why would we want to tax ourselves when it's the exploding, unregulated countries like (but not limited to) China that will do all the damage for now on.

Stanza 3:
Al Gore, need I say more. Hold the cheese Al, it's terrorizing. I do have to add that Al Gore left China and other developing countries out of the Kyoto Treaty against the wishes of several prominent thinkers. Or did they just laugh at Al?

Moral I took from this song:
The strange mind burn= our forward thinking.

Keeping your eye somewhere else= what's next?

Keep thinking of our health= the real issue of the global warming effect.

In the end= mission accomplished and the rest is...well...common sense and the fact that liberal thinking has always ebbed and flowed in our country.

I know i'm ready for a shift in the paradigm of our Democratic Party. Something similar to the one that I barely remember happening around 1970 which is where the Green movement owes it's roots. I don't like the idea of hard-liners in charge of the White House and Congress.

Cheers!
