It's not a matter of mocking the victims of 9/11, it's more a matter of being able to continue living your lives after the tragedy. Yes, it's a tragedy, but your life should move on. That's not to say you won't think about the fact your loved ones are gone, but you should be able to accept it. Nucleozoid, your comment is just ignorant. |

For me this represents the relationship I'm in right now. I've been seeing this girl for about 4 months. Early on, about a month into the relationship I broke up with her because I wanted to avoid the eventual heartache. I was falling in love for the first time, and with a woman that would be leaving me this September. She's moving to a university to complete her post-secondary education, I'm stuck, meanwhile, at the school we met at. This song represents us being able to conquer love and move on past the dissonance; it also represents how I wish we start this summer over again. She's leaving and I don't know what to do... |
