Great song, but 100% agree with plat, Camilo was a hero and then committed a crime. If you sign up for the army you have signed your life away for this country and that in my mind is one of the most heroic and noble things a man can do but you have signed a contract and it is your duty to fulfill it. What makes this country great (something I think most people don't realize) is the fact that he is still alive after going AWOL, a lot of other armies would have executed him for treason, not given him 9 months in an army prison. |

Just for reference Manny Ramirez was born in 1972 and didn't move from the Dominican Repuplic until 1985... Song is not about him but it is a great song. |
