Just beautiful. You can really feel the pain in his voice, his disappointment on this person. My god, don't you hold out your hand I called off my plans I counted on you, on you And if you're ever left with any doubt What you live with and what you'll do without I'm only sorry that it took so long to figure out |

I guess that everyone really interprets the lyrics, with their own perspective and what's going in our lives... To me, it's about being in love with someone, and having only one night to spent together before one of them goes away... 'One night to be confused one night to speed up truth we had a promise made four hands and then away' holding hands and having to part...the promise maybe being to see eachother again.. 'To call for hands of above to lean on wouldn't be good enough for me' I think this part is about how they needed more than God's love or support, they needed eachother. 'One night of magic rush the start: a simple touch one night to push and scream and then relief ' This is probably about spending their night together, having sex, and making the most of it. 'we had a promise made we were in love ' Once again, the promise, the are in love and promise to see eachother again. 'And you you knew the hand of a devil and you kept us awake with wolves teeth sharing different heart beats in one night' This may refer to one of them being weaker than the other, and the other person trying to keep them awake or preserve what the have with every possible way:'with wolve's teeth', so that they could make the most of that night, sharing their heartbeats, something intimate and romantic.... That's my point of view, does anyone else see it like this?? :) |
