Am I the only one who thinks maybe this song is political? Possibly about the Bush administration (given the timeframe of the album) and the policy makers on capitol hill? "They don't have our eyes" meaning, they aren't regular folks, they don't see the outcome of their actions. "...more like their Dad." Maybe a Bush Sr./Jr. reference? "Are you also frightened?" I don't know. Just a thought on another interpretation of the song. |

Actually, I'm the brother of Tim (the lead singer). This song is actually about his band, believe it or not. It's about trying to be the responsible one and keep the chaos under control. Among other things. But ya, straight up, it's not about masturbation, it's about the band. |
