what's your problem with the Oberst/Dylan reference? I don't care much about Dylan but the connection is too obvious. Of course we can relate better to Conor because he is representative for our generation. But I'm proud that our generation has its own Bob Dylan. Nothing wrong with that. Nobody saying he's a cheap copy of Dylan. |

I don't think the faint fragment of Gershwin's Summertime we hear at the end means a retreat to alcohol. It might just be said song that stretches its tentacles out of the doorway. It fits, "summertime, and the living is easy"... |
