new dgd is waaaaaaaaay better than emarosa and probably better than old dgd kurt's voice is more practical and mixes better with the screams, i think jonny sounds better when its just him, so i think it worked out well, in that sense but the music business is competitive and mr. garren is a businessman, and he's doing what any businessman needs to do. not that making music should be about money, but damn, everyone needs to make a little green to do anything in this world. so he's defending his own band. i'm down with that and from what i've heard....let me stress that "FROM WHAT I'VE HEARD"....jonny seems to deserve getting abandoned. dropped. curbed. left behind. DGD's obviously doing very well without him, Death Star is there best album yet, and things seem to be going well with the new frontman. DGD is flourishing, so i'm happy. |

definitely about a woman the whole cd is the term "Anti-Mother" is about an outwardly welcoming feminine figure, that is deceitful and harmful on the inside. heard that straight from corey brandon's mouth the song, and album, is predominately about a girl (lover most likely) that hurt him severely. sure, there are references, and maybe songs, about sin and satan, but its mostly about that anti-lover |
