| Kid Cudi – Mr. Rager Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| This song is about having sex for the first time. Think about it. | |
| As I Lay Dying – Anger And Apathy Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I thought the meaning of this song was pretty clear. He's saying that if he's going to try and reach someone, he'd rather it be someone who is angry and fed up with their situation than someone who is content living in their misery. Because at least the angry people realize something is wrong and have the will to change it. | |
| Lil' Wayne – Swag Surf Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| This song is how about how he used to feel like the most important person in the world, and he was carefree. He felt like he was the s**t and he had the world in his hands. Then from nowhere Katrina came and wiped out him and his whole city, and it reduced him to someone who had to rob banks just to survive. He remembers places he used to love before Katrina came, and thinks about the friends he lost. Then he realizes how insignificant his ego really is in the big scheme of things. | |
| Shinedown – The Crow And The Butterfly Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Obviously the "crow and the butterfly" metaphor does not symbolize him as the crow and a girl as the butterfly.....unless he's some kind of murderer lol. Do crows chase butterflies because they love them? No they chase them to kill them. The "crow" is representative of death, and the "butterfly" is someone who the singer loved. but it's not a love song, it's a mourning song. | |
| Thrice – The Lion and the Wolf Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
It doesn't make much of a difference but here are the correct lyrics: The lion's outside of your door The wolf's in your bed The lion's claws are sharpened for war The wolf's teeth are red And what a monstrous sight he makes, Mocking man's best friend When both the wolf and lion crave The same thing in the end The lion's outside of your door The wolf's in your bed The wolf, he howls The lion does roar The wolf lets him in The lion runs in through the door The real fun begins As they both rush upon you and Rip open your flesh The lion eats his fill and then The wolf cleans up the mess The lion's outside of your door The wolf's in your bed [x2] |

| As I Lay Dying – Comfort Betrays Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| um, lie_to_purify is right. this song is about clint, tim said in an interview. you can read it on the metal-rules site. the interviewer asked tim if "forsaken" was about clint and tim said no, but comfort betrays is. so yeah, tim must be pretty pissed at clint. | |
| As I Lay Dying – The Sound of Truth Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| has anyone noticed how similar the music videos are for this song and thrice's image of the invisible? | |
| As I Lay Dying – This Is Who We Are Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| i cant believe only six people have commented on this song so far. its one of the best ever, i especially like how they end each chorus with a low scream in addition to the clean vocals. | |
| Blindside – Caught a Glimpse Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
i cant believe i just recently heard of blindside. they are good but hasnt anyone noticed this yet: ever heard "get out alive" by three days grace? the very beginning of both songs start with the exact same little guitar pattern/thing, up until the last couple notes. very interesting... |

| Creed – One Last Breath Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
this song has never made sense to me. if hes six feet from the edge how does that have anything to do with how far the drop is? "maybe six feet aint so far down" he sings that as if he had just said that there was a six foot drop, but he didnt, he just said the edge was six feet away. idk if you get what im saying but if you think about it maybe you will. anyway its just something that has always bugged me about this song. |

| Nickelback – If Everyone Cared Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
sorry but this song is soooooooo gay. id have to hear it on the bus radio like twelve times every morning on the way to school. he sounds like a freakin gandhi-animal rights crybaby-pacifist hippie with that chorus. (not that theres anything wrong with gandhi). |

| Shinedown – What a Shame Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| also i only have a 96kbps mp3 of this song. its such a powerful song that such low quality doesnt do it justice. | |
| Shinedown – What a Shame Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| a lot of songs on this new album kind of dont sound that original--awesome album album awesome song, dont get me wrong, but when i first heard this song it reminded me of that stupid nickelback song they kept playing on the radio--"if everyone cared and nobody died" or something like that... | |
| Avenged Sevenfold – Chapter Four Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| this is one of their best songs, if not the best. as soon as the vocals come in, shadows singing and screaming at the same time, you can tell its going to be good. | |
| Pantera – This Love Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| i love the screaming in this song when he says "u keep this looooooove-ow!" | |
| System of a Down – Toxicity Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| i think this is about hobos. they are lying on the sidewalks eyelevel with tires of the vehicles that go by. they need wood for a fire to keep warm and all they have to do is sleep until they die (the sacred silence). and somewhere between the sacred silence and sleep is their life that consists of nothing except eating all they find (seeds) trying to stay warm and going back to sleep. it has something to do with the city being toxic because no one helps them... | |
