SnottyFuck made me laugh, and I agree with him. dlb1980 hit it on the head. As for the song.. "Nihilistic feelin's are moving. If I try really hard I'll see right through them." I've always seen it like the nihilistic feeling is the urge to drink. When you drink you don't give a shit about anything, nothing matters, he's released from "moral assumption" (where the nihilism comes in) and he's fighting that, trying to "see through it." Trying to shake off the urge to drink, the urge to be freed from morality through it. |

The first part of the song is speaking to the older generations, "the problem is you".. basically racial hatred (all hatred) is learned and passed down and all the segregation is based off the fears of past generations. The song also addresses how the media forms peoples opinions, "stains" them. So it's saying, it's time for change, the youth are pissed that the world is so screwed up and they want to stand up for change, to unite. Love it, my all time favorite song. |
