Ok Dark Red clearly this is a deep and dark song, like pretty much all of his songs!!!
So stating the obvious to try and disagree with someone isn't the brightest thing to do! I have loved LC since I was 16, 24 years now, and there is always somebody who has listened to his music for a couple of months and thinks they are an expert, it is understandable considering how easy to attach yourself to his music it is, but it does not stop these people from simply making a fool of themselves, so I hope all goes well with you and your friend, but please refrain from making ignorant comments for the sake of arguement |

My favourite line from this song is "I used to think I was some kind of Gypsy boy before I let you take me home".....I have it tattooed on my arm and to me it shows how everyone can feel insecure but the love of someone dear can get rid of all those doubts |
