oh of course he does, but the fact that girls are liking it just becuase it was in the movie is the point im trying to get across here,and trust me, atleast 90% of the girls do like it just becuase it was in the movie, and that pisses me off, They cant even respect him as an artist, Its blastfimus |

this song is a good song, but the fact that it was on such a hit movie and now we have little teenage girls running around like they have know who sam is this entire time and that hes the best artist in the world, common, i love iron and wine and have been with sam scence a little after he started, and it just saddens me that he even let his amazing music in a disaster of a movie. the book was good, but girls cant even look at that now, all they look at is how hot edward is, when its a movie and the actor isnt even like that in real life.....its soo sad. But i still give him props for the song, making policical heartach into something beautiful instead of uglyness, makes my soul happy. |

A lot of people on this song think that babies are incaplible of loving god, becuase they dont know who or what a higher power is. perhaps They arnt capible of loving god, but what if god is a parent. To them all they want is a mother or fathers love. And perhaps were he says "i want your flowers" flowers could be the peices of her heart that she is not willing to give away, But that he wants so badly.
the whole song is just him wondering when hes going to get the love that he wants from her, but shes not willing to give away, or cant. And she taunts him with this. |
