I always thought the chorus seemed to be a take on Bush's thought process when he began the recent war in Iraq. Any thoughts on that? the rest of the song seems to be an awesome love song, so I dont know. Said I'm gonna buy a gun and start a war, If you can tell me something worth fighting for, Oh I'm gonna buy this place is what I said, Blame it upon a rush of blood to the head. If im not mistaken " a rush of blood to the head" is that feeling you get when you cocky and full of yourself. |

This song is pretty awesome. the best lines are definately verse 2 and i think zenzella makes good sense of them the chorus is a bit confusing (still cant say...) but i think it just hints at the unpredictability of their lifestyles |

I'm sorry to all those supporting the environmentalist interpretation but the overarching idea of this song has got to be about two unprepared parents commenting on growing up. The environmentalist interpretation and drug references does work fairly well in some areas but that is just attributed to their excellent song writing, and the song is called "kids," c'mon now. WHAT A JAM tho! |
