Whoever said it reminds them of Garden State is dead on. That's just what I was going to write. The whole thing about owing some kind of debt, being short on long-term goals. "You hurt her but you don't know why, you love her but you don't know why." Lines up pretty well. Great song. |

I've probably listened to this a couple hundred times since August. It took a while to grow on me but I love it now. I like that we have no idea what the song is about until the last verse. Makes the rest of the song mean a lot if you go back and think about it. |

So he's talking about how he wants to be her friend and then comes back and says in the next line "I want to maim you." Oh yea, that makes a ton of sense. It really doesn't matter since the actual word is "name," however. And I'm being an elitist prick because blackmajik2021's example of what he means by "maim you like a hurricane" is laughable and makes zero sense. Also, I'm doing it because it gets a rise out of people like you who are wrong. :-) |

Please explain to me exactly how one would maim a hurricane? Please. That makes no sense. Also, in the booklet that came with the album it says clearly "Name you like a hurricane." That actually seems to make sense also...imagine that. And a good day to you, sir. |
