i'm pretty sure he says: "And I'll be free tonight" instead ofL "all these reasons why" i'm also pretty sure he says: "cut off these ties to this city" instead of "cut off these ties till this is why" in both cases, it makes much more sense, with his flow of the lyrics. yes, i understand his words sound pretty slurred. because he "was a drunk" or whatever. but those lines just sounded terribly incorrect. i'm also pretty sure he says: "i can't believe your lies" instead of "i have been reading lies" this also makes sense, because at the beginning of the cd, in And I Told Them I Invented Times New Roman, he says, "i won't believe the lies" but as the cd progresses he comes to the realization, that this person was the liar, not the people telling what he thought were lies. this is just my interpretation, and it's probably wrong, but that's how i feel about it. |
