i think its a wonderful song. if youve heard the acoustic version. it gives you chills. its NOT AT ALL what you expect it to be. and its more clear.. he likes the girl. the girl doesnt like him in the same way. and he wants her to feel something. and she doesnt even try to. and he wants to feel like he is wanted.. he wants to be apart of her (in her diary) but she denies him.. |

i have someone that relates to this. so i know the meaning.. firefly is a girl. he likes her, because of how they are similar.. they both hate ppl who change.. and they both end up changing.. when he says "lost your light" he means lost your uniqueness. and so did he. "cause they're just like mine" amazing song : ) |
