Ok so I think I figured out the story. "Look Alive" introduce Dr. Death as the narrator. In "Na Na Na," we meet Party Poison, Jet-Star, The Kobra Kid and Fun Ghoul as the Good Guys and also the vague bad boy. "Bulletproof Heart" and "Sing," The Good Guys, who seem to have left their hometowns because of the evil, decides to fight and protect their hometown and the people living in it. "Planetary (GO!)" sees the Good Guys in action, fighting against the evils. In this song, Party Poison meets a woman (perhaps an old flame) in which he is enamored with. In "The Only Hope for Me Is You" there is a retaliation by The Bad Guys, which seems to be some type of bomb that destroys most of the world/city/whatever the location is, and Party Poison cannot find his beloved woman. In "Jet-Star and The Kobra Kid" we discover that the said characters have been killed in the retaliation. In "Party Poison" Party Poison and Fun Ghoul get their revenge, but somehow, find themselves as the bad guys as doing acts in which they themselves don't approve. But, in the meantime, he finds his love. In "Save Yourself, I'll Hold Them Back," Party Poison is basically telling his love to save herself while he and Fun Ghoul hold back to people who are after them. In "S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W" we see the female lead by herself worrying whether or not Party Poison is alive. In "Summertime" the female lead finds Party Poison as he is dying, and I believe she commits suicide to be with him eternally. I believe we are to assume Fun Ghoul died as well. "Destroya" talks about how Party Poison and crew turned into The Bad Guys along the way in their fight for the good ("I believe we're the enemy). "The Kids From Yesterday" is a sort of a song in memory of the crew, and "Goodnite, Dr. Death" is the end of the story. "Vampire Money" we meet the guys before they turn into these characters ... sort of like an intro as an outro or something? I could be completely wrong but this is how I see the comic book story.
In real life, I think this album is big FUCK YOU to society. It's definitely against societal expectations and pro-individuality. |

I love the literal meaning of this song: fighting for what you believe in. I especially enjoy the lyrics

I think in general, this album is about empowerment, just being who you are and fighting against societal expectations.
I'm actually reading the lyrics as I listen to the entire album, and I can't believe how much like a comic book it is. I am feeling all kinds of emotion. I don't want to Jet-Star and Fun Ghoul to die :( |

going with theme of this album, this song has to have two meanings: one that goes along with this story and one that applies to real life.
In story mode, Party Poison is Gerard. Jet-Star and The Kobra Kid were just killed and this is Party Poison getting his revenge hint the gang wars. I also think he's killing people while they're sleeping.
In real life, I think it's simply about living life to the fullest. |

I agree, the hook on this song is sick.
I think this song is about a fling/one-night stand. He's just in it for the fun, but girls fall in love with him while he's just having fun. But then he meets a girl that he starts feeling, but what she's doing to him is what he has been doing to all these other girls. |

there are a lot of errors in the lyrics, but its not hard to follow.
I LOVE this song. The meaning is simple: he's fine with being single. he knows that one day love will come, but until then, there's no need to stress the issue. It's about enjoying the single life, and I totally agree with him. |

this song is absolutely amazing. I don't normally get blown away by the lyrics of a song, but she has done it here. I love the play on the numbers with the "one" from the title. Basically, she's the main chick of some guy and she's singing about his escapades with numerous girls. One of the best on this album! |
