i don't think this song is about a specific instance, like the success of [A-B] Life. Aaron, in his interviews, constantly says that one of the things he struggles with most, not just personally, but with other people, is humility. this song represents that need to not over step our bounds, to realize that we are just insects. The line "My life's a cup of sugar i borrowed before time began and forgot to return" i think is saying that we base our pride and such on things that are not really ours, we just "borrow them" from god |
