I think it's talking about a someone struggling through an addiction of drugs or alcohol I have seen so many loving faces They turn back and leave with looks of regret The road goes and i am finding home in it *this reminds me of how the addicts loved ones try to help them but a lot of times it doesn't work because the abuser has to want it themselves so the loved ones "leave with looks of regret." And the last line is saying that life keeps going and he's finding who he used to be before he was an addict It's just the way I see my face and I could never believe (Now I can see it) *Now that he is looking at himself he realizes that he needs help and that he can't believe he's let himself become an addict and now he can see what his loved ones were trying to tell him I dunno it's all just a guess and an opinion. |
