maybe there aren't enough lyrics to support my claim, but i always thought this song was about drugs. smoking weed in particular: "we're all young and naive still, we require certain skills; the mood it changes like the wind, hard to control when it begins" "one temporary escape, feel it start to permeate" "bittersweet between my teeth, trying to find the in-betweens" i think the "bittersweet between my teeth" refers to a cigarette/blunt/joint/whatever held between someone's teeth |

i'm soooo glad this is being put on the new album. it astounds me how regina can make great music that you can jam out to, and then you realize she's just rambling on about random shit :) i think this song can be easily overanalyzed, but in my opinion, i just don't care. they're great, simple lyrics. |
