This song is completely about Christ. The end of the world is coming, a messiah comes to die for the world. Beauty is burned in the fires- referring to the pharisees who thought they were beautiful. He took 'the blame.' 'If you knew that I was dying would it change you?' He refers to Thomas doubting saying unless I 'See' the holes in his hands I won't believe. After the three days he returns but allows no one to touch him. 'Don't touch me now.' He goes up to heaven by floating up in the air. 'When I fly solo, I fly so high.' |
