i think this is about a lover, someone she's perhaps had a real bad run-in with, maybe over the course of a long period of time. and perhaps she feels trapped to the point where she feels like the only way that she can get over the terrorized feeling is to take the life of her lover whom she clearly has mixed feelings for. |

i really don't think she's talking about interracial crap at all hah. balck / white / grey refers to simple decisions, not raciam persuasions hah. and then its also talking aout how she's going through something, and how its motivatin her to sing a song. how she likes puttin herself in those shit situation sometimes, but other times it gets to her, and thats when she wants to write songs. |

i have a different take on this one.
there's a friend of his he's look up to for awhile, maybe a role model, maybe someone he idolized, and that person just fuckin proved themslves to be a fuckin douchebag. so he's just sittin there shattered and wonderin what to do.
like the leader of a gang or something. they have to be charismatic. but at some point one of the kids might question what are they doin.
its certainly a song about questionin thats for sure. and its certainly somethin that you've taken for granted. that suddenly seems to be unworthy. and so youre just wonderin. and in a way its about growin up. because in the end the guy says, "or i might go alone".
to me thats how this song resonates. |

i read above some people thought it strange or maybe not really the case that people'd fall asleep to this album. i'll tell you from experience ive listened to this album many times before bed and this song has the same effect as entire sigur ros albums in putting you to sleep pleasantly. this is a song i really like by the beatles, im glad they did it. its sort of a disney ish tune and just adds to the variety of tracks they put out |

this is an interesting song. i agree that it has a certain vibe that i like. its really uplifting and positive. meaning wise im not sure what the meaning is of their song but i would like to begin learning icelandic to be able to understand them |
