I think this song is criticizing religious people who just sit around and expect God (or if there is one) to fix their problems for them. "Dancing For Rain" was a religious ritual by Indians and it didn't do anything for them it was just that they expected their gods to do everything for them. And Today everyone will point the finger at everyone else and never accept the blame and just say "It's all in God(s) hands" and just sit around and accept it instead of acting. "and you wont ever find us kneeling or swallowing your lies" you won't ever find us praying for something to happen or swallowing the fact that you'll take care of it. |
