| musically, this song is top notch, so many different things going on, as far as the meaning goes, i really dont know, im assuming they wrote the song as a sort of message "we can be lovers" could be directed towards a person but maybe from God to the listener. But the 2nd verse throws me off | |

they're a Christian band, though they obv. know the song can be taken in diff. ways because there's no direct reference to a girl or God as in some of their other songs. but this can easily be an expression of their love towards Jesus. Look at they're other stuff which show feelings of affection and alot of them are directed towards God, like their next song on the album "cadence". "Restless, you leave me restless" "Heartstrings, you're tugging at my heartstrings" "You're a miracle to me"..(you know its directed towards God because he makes a reference to Paul) |
