most of the album to me is about relationships. i think the first song sets the theme for the whole album. and it flows right into The Royal We. It goes from being in a relationship (theres no secrets this year, the rotal we), to breaking up (it's nice to know you work alone, panic switch), then to moving on (substitution, catch and release). And the itunes bonus track is Currency Of Love, which pretty much closes the circle. |

yeh, i agree, with the person who said explain why its about the music industry.
i don't think that it's about that. I mean, you can't just focus on a couple of lines, you gotta see it as a whole. No ones mentioned the line: pink slip(?) inviting me inside & do you think she'll sleep with a panic switch. It's gotta be about a relationship, say, with a cheater? |

i gotta say, awesome song! even tho the song appeared on the Resident Evil: Extinction soundtrack, it sounds like, especially in the chorus, it was inspired by Resident Evil: Apocalypse. right? eh, idk. awesome song for the movie tho :D |
