@[ruanv:23714] was just listening to this and thinking about what it meant. It seems to just be about being in a relationship with someone that doesn't value her. She's been left at home (probably getting drunk based on the can't walk the line, can't see the time) while they're going out and doing whatever. Her identity has become about the relationship and not herself "I'm falling out of view, I'm sinking into you." She knows it's not a healthy relationship and promises herself that she's going to leave but there's always an excuse i.e. I'm not going to leave on Sunday, I'm going to do it the day after. |

| Yeah, seems like it's about a guy being nervous about finally sleeping with a particular woman. She's showing him where to put his hand until he gets it right. Not sure what the line "Cause everybody else knows what they're taking tonight" really refers to though. Then next verse about how he usually just masturbates but now he's finally having sex with this girl but knows it's gonna end soon. However, after ejaculation he comes back to his senses and realises the girl he thought he had made orgasm too is just faking it. Pretty sure the lyrics are a double entendre. It's obvious that it's supposed to be about Alice following the rabbit to Wonderland since the song was made for Alice in Wonderland. Whereas you could take a second meaning of this song to be about this naive girl who meets this guy and he wants to take her back home and fuck her. |

| I really don't think any of the songs on this album are about drugs. I think in this song the guy and the girl had sex, but they don't think it would be a good idea to tell any of their friends. Unfortunately all her friends had to go away on her birthday but if she didn't go out with the guy to celebrate it might look weird so he tells her they should go out anyway. The guy still wants to get with the girl (be my baby one more time). The girl can get any guy she wants, and is depressed cause they only want her for her body (guy friend is cheerful and hopeful of getting lucky with her, especially since other friends aren't there). What she really wants is a guy who will treat her right and not just want sex (holding hope open for the one making you wait). The drugs does seem like it could also be right but I just don't think it ties in with the rest of the album. | |

I think this song is about a guy who loves this girl, but the girl is already in a relationship with another guy. This other guy doesn't treat her right (if things go crazy, she's lost herself and lost to you) e.g. she is depending on the other guy and if he is getting violent then "she's breaking down slowly" and so will never have the confidence to leave the abusive guy for the other guy who really loves her. She won't talk about the problems though even though the guy who loves her knows what is happening and by keeping silent she's out there on the ice (in a very bad situation). Just a thought? |
