This song is about a relationship where the two people went their separate ways, perhaps reluctantly or due to some abnormal circumstance. It's over and was painful, but the girl most likely still wants the guy to sacrifice for love, to be by her side and leave his same life and set ways. Or at at least accept her into his life. He is scared of the commitment or rejection, and does not want to settle or chase her. But ultimately he realizes that if she wants him, he will do it to take a chance on love ("If you say so, I'll leave home", "I'll try to walk another way"). It could be the most amazing thing they ever have if he goes to her. I could be totally over-analyzing it though, in any case the track is hot. |
