"I want to feel All the chemicals inside I want to feel I want a sunburn Just to know that I'm alive" Sounds to me like a reference to the treatments of cancer. Chemicals= Chemo-Therepy, Sunburn= Radiation. I could be way off. But it sounds like it is a song that talks about being given an amount of time to live. The lyrics repeatedly say "Don't tell me if I'm dying," a person would rather live for life instead of trying to overcome death. I do agree with everyone else though, that its definately a wake up call to enjoy life, but I also believe it is about a terminal illness, such as cancer. |
