My guess is as good as any on this one, but I’ll try my best to explain what it means to me. This guy sees his ex girl friend one day, which he have not seen in years, but this wasn’t just fling, he wanted to spend his life with her. But she had other plans…, she wanted to see the world and meet exciting people, and he was probably to scare to leave the life his been use to. Long story short she leaves him and went off. Then a few years later… Now that she's back in the atmosphere with drops of Jupiter in her hair, hey, hey she acts like summer and walks like rain Reminds me that there's time to change, hey, hey since the return from her stay on the moon she listens like spring and she talks like June, hey, hey He saying how much she change, and she’s more beautiful than he remembered Tell me did you sail across the sun Did you make it to the Milky Way to see the lights all faded And that heaven is overrated Tell me, did you fall for a shooting star One without a permanent scar And did you miss me while you were looking for yourself out there His kind of sarcastic with her, when he ask her these questions, and I think his a bit jealous.
