I think this song is about death or tragedy. "she ran into the wall so sweet and unknown a worn comatose" Someone very close to him, perhaps a lover, got into an accident and ended up dead or in a coma. Worn could insinuate that the person was tired of being in one and pulled the plug. He starts to take medication so he can sleep after the accident. And is always visited by her in his dreams. He's saying his brain doesn't produce any, as in he's dependent on it. But Also, I'm soaring without anything also shows that after a while he starts day dreaming or hallucinating about her even while awake. She says im taking my time, prolly is how his mind is dealing with the death. A way of telling himself she's in a better place. And that one day, finally, he sees her again. As a way of acceptance. we said aloud that we can�t pull out I think that part means he took too much. Because even with all the noise and screaming, he's unable to pull out and wake up. I think he overdoses so he can see her again. |
