I like the line "I'll give back everything that you gave me" saying how their music helped him through his life and now he's making music for more kids to help them |

| Rancid – The Wars End Lyrics

I dont think its literally about a war, but about a kid who's mom doesnt like his music or way of life so they're constantly fighting. I always thought that by saying "we're at the war's end" it meant that the kidw was older and getting ready to leave home so the fighting between him and his parents was over.
Either way, great song. I saw them play this in Montreal a few weeks ago and they did it slower without any drums, it was reallyg good. |

This song is always going to remind me of when I went to go see Rancid in Montreal. =] No riots or anything but hanging out on St. Catherines street was fun. |

XmisfitXgirlX I dont think it has anything to do with Ian being bitter at Rollins for joining Black Flag. If you watch the movie American Hardcore, Rollins said he called Ian and asked him if he though he should join the band. Ian told him that he should do it |

Yeah I agree. To me this song is about how kids feel about their heroes who have sold out.
"Seemed like nothing
Could break you down
How high was the price?
And was it worth it?" |

Isnt "war between races, war between lies" a line from "unity"? And "it falls on you and it falls on me" is a line from "hoover street" |

| The Goo Goo Dolls – What A Scene Lyrics

I always thought this song was about someone who had all these dreams about what they wanted in life.
And when it comes down to it they find that its not as good as they had thought and they are pretending that they are happy and everything is perfect. Sort of like a "be careful what you wish for, because you just might get it" sort of theme. |

madhouse, i think the "fatal flaw" means anything that could potentially destroy this person's way of life. They have everything to lose so the are paranoid about anything going wrong. |

I think that the chorus of this song kind of sounds like You Dont Care Nothin' by Rancid
When he sings "lines are faded" it has the same tune as the line "jenny demilo" |

This one seems to have the same sort of meaning as Time Bomb and Travis Bickle, but I think its better. Especially the part where the vocals go back and forth durning the chorus. |
