| To me the song seems like its telling you to beware because people aren't who they always appear to be. You could end up being the victim in some cruel game. Honestly, i think games were played in a past relationship. Fell for someone he thought he knew and it was just a mask, a front put up to lure him in and once he got in good that she could control him how she wanted "has him by the balls" which would make her cutting his balls out and holding them make perfect sense. This song isn't about the fucking lord of the rings. If you've ever been deeply in love and gotten ready to or have tied yourself to someone else through marriage you would see that its about marriage. Everyone wants to get married "Everyone wants to touch the ring No one can resist it And they let themselves be seduced Because the ring is beautiful" And he says its his precious because it means a lot. you are giving yourself to that person. This person turned away and left him for a different person so he wants to give the ring to the right person instead of let the other person hold onto it after she's left him.
