I am not a fan of William's vocals in this song. He's not singing as much as he is just talking. Live, however, this song is brilliant. |

William said in an interview that this is a song about pretending not to be in love when you clearly are. As in, he's trying to deny his own heart because he can't be with this girl, for whatever reason, probably being too shy, judging from the lyrics. |
