"Late at night" for sure. He's either looking at another girl or his girl...either way he is thinking he is about to move on. Apologizing like so many have noted. The blathering after "Get up" I am pretty sure ends with "..., little doggie". I didn't think it was Stephan yelling that. A real musician can probably tell us the name for this is -- when you have a break in the middle of the song and the whomever is keeping rhythm (usually the drummer or bassist) yells "one...two...three" to get things rockin' again. |
