| The whole digame versus dime is a choice as well as a matter of who you are speaking to. Particularly when I speak I use both usted and tú forms, but I have heard that some people in some cultures use only the usted forms (digame), or use rarely the tú form (dime). Also, it's a matter of respect. If you love someone, sure it is a familiar relationship and "dime" would be expected, however in a matter of respect and loyalty, digame would be equally as relevant. | |
