I can't express enough how much I hate it when people try to insert their religion into places it doesn't belong. He's making promises to a woman, essentially offering her the world. Why would anyone say "hey God, if you come with me we'll be safe" you'd think it'd be the other way around, right?

Because he did kill himself. If you'd even listened to the album you would know that its one big story. Hell; All the Best Cowboys have daddy issues, Negative Space, and The priest and the matador are all linked together. He jumps of a building in All the best cowboys; he's falling in negative space; and he's hit the ground in priest and the matador. Surely you aren't so stupid that you couldn't make that connection? |

I'm not completely sure but to me it sounds like he's saying "this BLUSH just dousn't feel right"
It also makes more sense with the lyrics in that she feels uncomfortable covering up who she is... But that's just me |
