I strongly beleive that the line "she dont lie" is saying that the cocaine doesnt lie. It is a comparison between cocaine and women in that the high you get from cocaine is truthful and pure. Whereas when with a woman or being in love with a woman theres a possibility she is just lying to you, and the high you get from that is false. This is a great song, the JJ Cale version is a million times better though. |
