"i am trying to break your heart but still i would be lying if i said it wasn't easy" he has already broken here heart in the past and he admits it was easy. seems like they can't get a grip on their relationship and dragging it out by breaking each other's hearts over and over. seems like she is done with him now though but he wants to win her love back so that he can break her heart THIS time because maybe he thinks she should feel some pain but it may not happen this time around since he's drunk and begging pathetically. with the present tense "i am trying to break your heart" - maybe he thinks he wants to end it for good though...but i doubt it. he's obviously in this drunkin nostalgic state thinking about his old girlfriend. such a great song |
