I think its about having what is basically a one night stand with an ex you still love. It sounds like she at least wrestles with the idea, too. I'm not sure if the 'not asking' is about the time spent apart (maybe he's saying they shouldn't know about lovers and e.c. activities) or maybe it's about not talking about whats going on between them (whether they are getting back together), but it sounds like a plea either way. As if the two discussing this would absolutely kill any chance they had. Gorgeous. |
