Awesome song, I'm surprised there are so few comments. But I def agree with the graduation idea. I listened to it a lot back in the summer before leaving home for college. Now I just listened to it again and remembered all the great times this summer with friends and fam. Flagtown forever!! |

Punchline is way underrated. They are creative and catchy. This song is really good for snowy days, and I love the tie in with London's Bridge--the "burning bridge falls down part," and then the guitar solo in the actual bridge of the song which plays the tune of London's Bridge. Pretty neat and good stuff! |

I love this song!!! My choir totally sang this as our senior song at graduation and I miss them all so much! But this song is truly universal and can be used for any moment in which you are leaving somebody you love and care about. It seems that that happens all too often in life. But anyway the whole soundtrack is amazing and see the show! |

Just curious but does anyone else think that the "I can go nowhere I burn candles and stare at a ghost" is a Shakespeare reference--the play Julius Caesar.. i'm going out on a limb but I wouldn't put it past Jenkins to have some crazy stuff like that in a song, especially one as deep as this |

I love this song and agree with pretty much everyone on here. And also I think Trivial_Suicide is right in that it is "molotov mug." A lot of the lyrics near the end are hard to understand... But its sooo awesome how this song just builds and builds then dies off to the end of the album... great way to go out Eve 6! |

This song is def amazing! Personally it doesn't get me as much as black balloon or here is gone or slide, but the lyrics are just as good!

Wow nobody's commented on K'Naan... Well this song is amazing! I love the contrast of the grief he's discussing and the le le le le la's. Also it seems that "the poet" is K'Naan talking about himself... just a guess cuz his rap is quite poetic. I really like the line "people don't care, people just pray," cuz its so true. And thank you hoobidty for posting the lyrics even though they aren't all there but its a great start! |
