| We As Human – Broken Inside Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| Thats the Christian thing to say. How about you come to people with the love of Christ and not condemnation | |
| The Classic Crime – The Fight Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| Sorry to all you nay sayers. Like it or not (and Matt Macdonald has said this himself) they may not be a christian band but the christian walk and life will show in their songs. This song is talking about the battle within ones self in my opinion. and someone is speaking to a person struggling and trying to motivate them. and yes I do believe that person is Jesus talking to matt. Jesus is trying to motivate matt to stay in the fight even though its tough. | |

| Its obviouse that the versus are about war and battle. And the chorus is about standing for what you believe in because you dont want to stand by and do nothing and have a regret when your old so live without fear | |
| The Classic Crime – The Precipice Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| I doubt the song has anything to do with God really. Now no, I'm not an atheist coming on here to prove TCC isnt a Christian band. Most of their songs are about God whether morons like it or not. But regardless, I think this song is about looking back on how much he has accomplished and wishing he had done more in his life to help people. like in: "I stood on a hill that I wished was a mountain to look back on all my accomplishments." Looking at what he did good he realizes it was just a little hill. But he wished it was a mountain of accomplishments. "Well they must have been small, cause I couldnt seem to find them so I took a leap out of the precipice" Precipice means a cliff or steep drop. So, when he realized he could do more he leaped down to rebuild his accomplishments. The "Saddest song" thing you are questioning is (in my mind) him being depressed at where he is at because he knows he could be better. | |
| The Classic Crime – Closer Than We Think Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| The Classic Crime is NOT a Christian band. However, most members are Christians. Yes, their lyrics reflect the life of a Christian. Look up the interview where Matt talks about it. They dont consider themselves as a Christian band but they do give messages of Christ in their songs. What Matt says in the interview is very admirable. But never will you hear them call themselves a Christian band. And they have a reason why but I'd rather you look it up because its so beautiful. | |

| The Classic Crime – Blisters & Coffee Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| get your facts straight bud, Matt says in countless interviews that their songs relate to a Christian aspect on life | |
| The Classic Crime – Blisters & Coffee Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| They arent a christian band, three of the five are christians and their songs reflect the life of a Christian. But they will flat out tell you they arent a christian band but their songs have a Christian aspect to them. whats your point? | |
| Emery – Walls Lyrics | 14 years ago |
|
Now since this is a Christian band my interpretation of this song is as such. now before you write me off as a Jesus freak (even though i am) i do try to find the actual meaning of a song. to me this song means a broken relationship with Christ. "my hands seem to deceive me when I'm nervous or when I'm healthy. the scenery's all drawn. they hang here from the walls dear, painting pictures, bleeding colors, blanket the windows." I believe he is talking about an addiction. His hands deceive him. "these fights with your arms left beside. one thing and one more says goodnight. you've got the map come get to me. these knuckles break before they bleed. tear out these veins that own my heart. this skin that wears your lasting marks." I believe he is talking about us being the hands and feet of Jesus. however he isnt letting the hands nor feet move, he just lets them hang their. And Jesus has the answers so he wants Jesus to help him past the walls that he build with his own hands. That is my little interpretation |

| Run Kid Run – Freedom Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| This song (according to my opinion, interpretation and leading of the spirit) is about a man, struggling with an addiction. He knows God however he still finds himself clinging to the addiction that ONCE bound him "no longer bound but here i stay" his chains are not binding him but he still holds them and he is begging for a new beginning, and when he finally discovers that all along he was free he just needed to accept the grace and realize it, he sings praises to Jesus. thats my interpretation | |

| Demon Hunter – Lead Us Home Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I think this song means that we as christians want God to lead us home | |
| Demon Hunter – Fading Away Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
Fading Away is about waiting to hear a call from the Lord. I think we, as Christians, can get caught up waiting on a specific word from God, all the while sitting stagnant and unproductive. Sometimes it seems like we can slowly begin to fade away from the Lord as we wait for something to slap us in the face. I think in many cases God wants us to take some necessary steps in order for His will to be revealed to us. This song talks about how our own selfish attempt at life is likely to be ill fated, and how we so often live according to our own desires. For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice. -James 3:16 |

| Demon Hunter – Storm the Gates of Hell Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
the meaning of this song comes from the psalms. It talked about the “kings of the earth” and worldly rulers. My intention is to warn these people, in our day and age, to beware of the almighty power of God. It also acts as a call for everyone who listens, to lay down their worldly cares, take up their swords, and fight with us against the evil and Godless powers of this world. To “storm the gates of Hell,” means to boldly stand in the face of adversity, and strike back against Satan’s deceitful ways. Arise, O Lord! Deliver me, O my God! Strike all my enemies on the jaw; break the teeth of the wicked. -Psalms 3:7] |
