well the first thing I actually found out about that song is, the "Oh no, there's nothing at all, Oh no, I regret nothing" part which til sings in french because it's a cover of a french song from Edith Piaf xD but I think this song is about a guy who got teached into the "things of love" by a french girl. i don't think that he took her virginity... i thing this translation isn't really correct, but i don't know it better so... yeah xD |

I aggree with all of the comments cause all in all it's the same idea behind each interpretation ;) what i want to do is to share some information... well... in fact two points: 1. "You're an unrescuable schizo, Or else you're on the rag" "on the rag" does really mean a woman's period, because in german speaking countries (maybe in english speaking too??) when a woman flip's out or is angry about things that doesn't disturb her normally, at least men say "she has her period days". Furthermore it fit's perfect because in some ways the behavior of a women and a schizo is the same isn't it?? xD 2. The name Delilah comes from the hebrew (??). in the bible is the story of salomon and delilah and delilah knew a way to kill salomon (or sth like this i'm not a bible expert^^). anyway, delilah means "falling ringlet" and i read somewhere (sry don't know exactly where :( ) that a person with this name is said to be weak (i mean the character here)... just like a schizo ;) |

I think this song is about german "sex - tourists" (??) who have their vacation in other countries (maybe thailand??) mainly to have some "fun" with cheap prostitutes and stuff... They go their because they "can't get laid in germany" and it's too expensive to pay a prostitute in their homecountry, and maybe it's even too risky because maybe someone watches you when you f**k with a wh**e and tells your friends... Anyway it's a damn good song xD |

i think this song is possible against internet and this whole thing... you can tell everything on the internet there are several pages where you can tell the rest of the world what's going on in your life (online-diary) and it doesn't has to be true. And the person who sings this song is happy that he can tell anyone in the world how bad he feels and his heart is broken and stuff like this but in reallife he's happy and doesn't has any problems at all (of course that's not true everyone has problems xD) and you can join on myspace and pages like this and those friend-finders, but most of the people you "talk" with you won't see in your life... but sometimes they start a realationship and tell them "i love you" and "i miss you" but they won't say this if thei're standing face to face (maybe^^). I'm putting my heart out on display there's no, masquerade, just a funeral march for love today I think the person in this song claims that love is dead because of the internet |

I think she's badly in love with someone but wants to forget him, because he treats her very bad or sth like this that causes a lot of pain inside of her.... and he keeps in touch with her but as i wrote she wants to forget him.... and she's "bleeding love": i think it means she hurt herself slash up her arm or sth.... and she tries to stop with this because it gets too much for her (My heart’s crippled by the vein That I keep on closing) but because of the contact with him she can's stop with it (You cut me open)... so the title bleeding love can be described with: she's hurting herself because she's in love but wants to forget this love and get away from her auto-agression.... yeah that's my opinion :) |

well i don't really like screamo but i have to say DDG is fucking awesome :) i think this song is all about a girl which (who??) lost her innocent but she didn't want to.... so maybe it's a kind of rape or she was drunken and someone "took the chance".... and with "everyone loves a (the) drama" and "lets set the stage on fire and hollywood would be jealous" i think they mean such stories like rapes and that stuff (in newspapers) is much and much better than the stories in hollywood movies... "set the stage on fire" could mean like "lets discover this and show it to everyone" HOLLYWOOD WOULD BE JEALOUS!!!!!!!!!!! P.S.:I'm sorry for my bad english but i'm german so don't wonder if you can't understand.... i feel the same xD |

I think this song is about a guy who takes a overdose (don't know if it's rigt spelling because i'm from Austria ;) ) maybe heroin. the "music" is here a metaphor for the drug, the so-called Refrain ("nothing is for you...") describes the desperate situation the person is in and so he commits suicide ("he has opened his eyes but he's not awake/but he hasn't woken up"). and as balkazar already wrote before, the lyrics describes the pain and all the other feelings... in the first and the last verses with music (mostly) and the middle verse (??) describes the feelings with terms of war (??) maybe it's also important that he closes his eyes as it starts and opens them just as it ends... maybe it shows that he could just feel something when he don't see his life or the world or something... just for brainstorming.... |
