okay. so i had diffrent lyrics. but the musical alusions in this song are amazing. Quin the eskimo is a bob dylan song. then there is lucy from lucy in the sky with dimonds. and then in the version i had instead of "Sally got dirty with a rock musician / She met in Massachusetts " i had "sally got dirty with the senitors son, you know the one form masachusets" and then "he was a man of wealth and taste is easily a refrence to the rolling stones song sympathy for the devil "Please allow me to introduce myself/I'm a man of wealth and taste". SO in that context, that line is very layered. but i am wonderign if anyone who has heard "senators son" knows what/who he is refering to. I basicly love this song and state radio. and i find this a great example of iorny. |
