Felix in fact is not a word. Not that I could find. Perhaps the word "phoenix" is what was meant. I think the meaning of the song really depends on what exactly he means by his hand being on the head. It certainly does sound like a reference to felatio, which would make the "beauty of the vision" sarcastic. I think it is commonly mistaken that "perverted by the sentimentals" doesn't mean the vision is perverted, but has been perverted by sentiment. In my opinion, the song is about a man who is in love but its not really reciprocated, but he mistakes that it is. |

I agree that the song refers to something overwhelming, but I think Hoon is too vague in this song to conclude that he is specifically referring to one thing or another. I would assume heroine is the leitmotif of this song. The last lines of the song may be a discussion between him and an heroine incarnate. Or perhaps he is explaining his contribution to a relationship between him and a loved one. |
