I love how the song gets really really slow after the Sax solo (BTW my absolute favorite part) then it speeds up to a frenzy...then slows down again. It's like he's toying with your emotions, drawing it out, then making it speed up. Brilliant. |

The first time I heard this song, I didnt hear it all the way through. I heard the first part of the song and was really disappointed in Sugarland. The song, from what I could tell, was a woman begging another man to leave his wife. That doesn't fly with me. But then I ended up listening to the whole song, and my view changed almost immediately. The end, when she gets up off her knees, gives me goosebumps every time. What I love about this song is that it goes from begging, to being angry about this guy treating her like crap, to doing something about it. Really really wonderful. |
