| I think it is pretty self explanatory. It is about the end of a relationship that he doesnt want to let go but knows he has to. The deeper meaning to it is the fact the she is looking for more. IE. "Difference between finding what you love and loving what you found is killing us right now." In life, most people look for an ideal/perfect person to complete them. Where as the lyricist tell us he wasnt ever looking for anyone to complete him. He is already complete just wants to share himself with someone. She feels like she must find the perfect person to complete her but he knows he is complete. Ie. she must keep searching for someone to complete her. Too bad she will be searching for the rest of her life or til she figures it out. Great song. | |
